The stroke length of your rear shock will determine what full travel is for your shock. The stroke length is listed on the damper body between the sag gradient lines. Vivid’s root sizes—or the standard stroke lengths—are 45mm, 55mm, 65mm, and 75mm. Full travel on a root-sized shock is when the O-ring lands slightly beneath the eyelet flange after a bottom-out event. If a frame manufacturer’s specific kinematics require a different stroke length, they can shorten or add stroke length incrementally. This will change where on the damper body the O-ring will land when using full travel due to the difference between the root size and the stroke length for that particular frame.
• 37.5mm, 47.5mm, 57.5mm, 67.5mm stroke lengths: full travel is 7.5mm below the eyelet flange
• 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm stroke lengths: full travel is 5mm below the eyelet flange
• 42.5mm, 52.5mm, 62.5mm, 72.5mm stroke lengths: full travel is 2.5mm below the eyelet flange
• 45mm, 55mm, 65mm, and 75mm stroke lengths: full travel is just below the eyelet flange
