The basic thinking behind the Isolator damper is similar to that of the Charger 3 damper, with a spring-backed IFP. The Isolator damper is built into the upper tube and uses more oil for damping. In addition to offering more adjustments, Charger 3 is self-contained within a cartridge, using less oil for lighter weight.
