DebonAir and Solo Air
To change travel in a RockShox DebonAir or Solo Air fork, a new airshaft is needed. Air shafts are specific to chassis and, in some cases, wheel size. Part numbers for air shafts can be found in the RockShox Spare Parts Catalog.

For help finding the required part number:
1) Enter your fork serial number at the RockShox TrailHead app.
Note: Depending on model year, some forks may not show up in TrailHead App. Consult your local bike shop or RockShox Rider Support for assistance determining the necessary parts to change fork travel.
2) After entering your serial number, you will see information about your fork from its original configuration.
Note: TrailHead App shows the fork initial factory configuration and will not reflect any changes.
3) Scroll past the fork specifications and select the "UPGRADE KITS" button.
4) Select the air spring part number that corresponds with your desired travel.
Example: If you would like to change the travel in your fork from 170mm to 180mm you would need to order 00.4020.572.000. To order this kit, please inquire with a local dealer or online retailer.
5) Check the "DOCUMENTS" tab, or visit the SRAM Service Site for information on how to install your new air spring.
Tech Tip | Maximum travel of a Dual Position Air fork can be adjusted, but not the amount of travel change. Dual Position Air forks will always have 30mm of difference in travel.
JUDY / 30 / RECON
Judy, 30, and Recon forks all use a check valve-style air spring. This style of air spring uses All Travel Spacers to control travel. Travel is extended by removing spacers or reduced by adding them. The chart below illustrates air spring configurations for corresponding travel.
Check out the Judy, 30, Recon service manual for instructions on how to install or remove All Travel Spacers. If you need more spacers, check with your local bike shop to order part number 11.4018.034.000.
