The required volume of fluid in RockShox rear suspension is different between models and is critical to shock performance. Due to a large amount of variance, we do not offer charts showing required volumes. instead, our service procedure involves bleeding the damper body which will ensure the shock has sufficient fluid. Please consult the SRAM Service Site for specific procedures and requirements as to what type of fluid to have on hand before you start.
NOTE: Non-SRAM/RockShox fluids and lubricants can cause shrinking or swelling of parts resulting in leaks or excessive premature wear. SRAM cannot ensure the quality and compatibility of any fluids or lubricants that are not designed in partnership with the product itself.
