Is the reservoir from Vivid Coil D1 reverse-compatible?

No. Even though the new reservoir will fit the previous generation shock, we do not recommend using it. The increased oil flow of the new reservoir results in suboptimal performance between the new reservoir and the older Vivid Coil C1 shock, even with re-tuning.
