SG920 has different chemical properties than prior greases, which are not compatible with older seals. This chemical difference can cause seals to swell, which can create excessive friction, resulting in poor and unpredictable performance. For these reasons, we don’t recommend or approve of using SG920 in non-compatible components. It is always best to reference the service manual for your product to determine which oils and greases are compatible and recommended.
